SWEPtGrowing Communities with the LandHealth Institute

      Join us as we get to know the LandHealth Institute, learn about their latest initiatives, and take a tour of a green space they are helping to revitalize, located in the Northern Liberties Neighborhood in Philadelphia! 

We'll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the LandHealth Institute and their latest initiatives
  • Take a tour of their community garden and nursery
  • Learn about the site's environmental history
  • Take a small guided tour of the East Kensington/Fishtown neighborhood and learn about another LandHealth initiative in the area

The walking tour will end at Meetinghouse, a local bar and restaurants, 3 blocks down from the nursery, where we'll be hosting a Happy Hour, afterwards. ***Please note this will be a pay-as-you-go Happy Hour!

  Tickets:

                 Members: $25

             Non-Members: $30

$5 of your registration fee will be donated to the Land Health Institute to support their ongoing initiatives.

A special note about parking: There's PLENTY of free street parking in this area.
