Nominate an Outstanding Woman for the 2016 Touchstone Award

The word “touchstone” is a term of art used by gemologists to test the purity of gold and silver.  In the vernacular, a “touchstone” is a test or criterion for determining the quality or genuineness of an object.  The Society of Women Environmental Professionals of Greater Philadelphia (“SWEP”) has named its annual achievement award, the “Touchstone Award”, to emphasize that its recipient has made a significant contribution to one of many environmental fields and is, thus, a woman whose achievements can serve as a benchmark, or touchstone, to which others may aspire.
