Outreach

Our Outreach Committee has two foci: communication and community. On the communication side, the committee is in charge of our website, email list, newsletters, and social media (though all of our committees can submit posts). We ensure that our virtual and physical images are clean, updated, and consistent with our mission and current goals.

In tandem with our first focus, our second focus promotes outreach to the community. This is an initiative we are actively growing; we envision the increased inclusion of:

• Volunteer events
• Ongoing partnerships with local nonprofits
• Participation in local career fairs
• Participation as judges in local science fairs
• Coordination with regional colleges
• Other public relation initiatives
