Ms. Joanne Denworth, the recipient of our Touchstone Award in 2000, passed away on March 1st after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a retired lawyer, longtime environmental expert, former senior policy manager for Gov. Ed Rendell, writer, teacher, and volunteer. She will be greatly missed in the environmental industry.
