SWEP of GP Programs and DEI Committees Presents:

SWEPtGrowing Communities with the LandHealth Institute

Join us as we get to know the LandHealth Institute, learn about their latest initiatives, and take a tour of a green space they are helping to revitalize, located in the Northern Liberties Neighborhood in Philadelphia!

We'll have the opportunity to:

Learn about the LandHealth Institute and their latest initiatives
Take a tour of their community garden and nursery
Learn about the site's environmental history
Take a small guided tour of the East Kensington/Fishtown neighborhood and learn about another LandHealth initiative in the area

The walking tour will end at Meetinghouse, a local bar and restaurants, 3 blocks down from the nursery, where we'll be hosting a Happy Hour, afterwards. ***Please note this will be a pay-as-you-go Happy Hour!

When: June 11th

Tickets:

Members: $25

Non-Members: $30

$5 of your registration fee will be donated to the Land Health Institute to support their ongoing initiatives.

A special note about parking: There's PLENTY of free street parking in this area.

Networking Night at the Ballpark

This year we are bringing the heat and teaming up with BCONE to make a grand slam of a time! Catch up with colleagues, meet some new people, enjoy the food, drinks, fireworks, and (of course) baseball as we cheer on the Reading Fightin Phils in their game against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies!

Tickets:

Members: $70

Non-Members: $80

Hit it out of the park and be a sponsor!

Sponsorship of $300

Ages 5 - 21*: $45

Children 4 and under are free.

There will be a 2 1/2 hour buffet, drinks, and it is a fireworks night!

NOTE: Registration will close 6/30/26 due to the requirements of the ticketing office. *Due to the alcoholic beverages served at the park, we will have to check IDs.
